Butter Cookies

This is a recipe of Honey butter cookies that your children will love. Recipe is very easy, these cookies are so addictive,similar to peanut butter cups.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup dry powder milk
  • 1 cup Raw Honey
  • granulated sugar (coconut,  nuts, chocolate)


Directions:

  • Thoroughly mix all ingredients.
  • Refridgerate until firm.
  • Roll into bite-size balls.
  • Roll in sugar.

  • Apple Brown Betty

    Ingredients:

  • 1 quart bread cubes or crumbs 
    1/3 cup melted butter/ghee/ coconut oil
    1 quart thinly sliced, peeled, and cored tart cooking apples (good with sweet apples, too)
    1 cup honey
    1 t. cinnamon or 1/2 t. nutmeg
    1 t. finely grated lemon rind (can leave out)
    2 T. lemon juice
    1/4 cup water 

  • Directions:

    Preheat oven to 400 F. Toss bread cubes with butter; set aside. Toss apples with remaining ingredients, except water. Beginning and ending with bread cubes, layer bread and apples into a buttered 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with water, cover, and bake 1/2 hour. Uncover and bake until lightly browned. Check often because the honey causes this dish to get dark quickly. Serve warm with sweetened yogurt or any suitable sauce. Makes 4-6 servings.

  • Paleo Pecan Pie

  • Ingredients:
  • Filling
  • 6 dates
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1.25 cups pecans

  • Pie Crust
  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Mix together crust ingredients in small bowl. Press into pie dish to form crust. Bake for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare filling by putting dates into a food processor. Run until dates have formed a paste (make sure to remove the pits first). Add egg, syrup, vanilla, flour, and oil. Blend in food processor into smooth and well mixed. Gently fold in pecans to the mixture. Pour filling into the pie crust. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until the pie is set. Allow to cool and enjoy!!
